Working Out Tips to Build Muscle
If rapid muscle building is what you desire, these tips can initiate your endeavour. So long as you follow the right plan and abide by it, you can put on a noticeable amount of muscle even within a short period of time.
For a person of small build, there are five things that must be done in order to gain noticeable amounts of a muscle:
1. Eat a lot.
Large calorie consumption will be necessary in order for you to put on significant amounts of weight. The average human male requires between 2000 to 2500 calories, but if you’re looking to gain pounds in muscle you’ll have to increase that intake to approximately 3500 calories a day, split between six meals.
During this time, you should also increase your protein intake levels.
2. Weight training.
What is important with weight training, if you want to build muscle and get big, you don’t need to do high reps with a low weight.
Instead, the way to train and build muscle quickly is to increase the weight and perform high quality repetitions over small numbers of sets.
The ideal routine would consist of three sets of approximately eight to twelve repetitions each.
3. How many Workouts
Working out for hours together everyday will not help you if you’re looking to build muscle mass quickly. Actually, this could be the reason for your not having seen your desired gains yet.
Say you’re looking to gain your muscle mass over six months, then all you really need are three 45 minute sessions at the gym every week.
The intensity with which you work out is what is more important.
In order for your muscles to recover and grow, you should allow one rest day between every workout day. Working out every day stunts your muscle growth and can cause injury, because your muscles do need to rest.
4. Sleep properly
One of the most important parts of body building is sleeping. A good sleep will aid your muscles in repair and growth. Sleep for at least 8 hours every night.
5. Whole body exercises
If you’re small built, your target should be to work as many of your muscle groups as possible in every session.
Only if you are patient committed and focused on the final goal will these workout tips grant you results. If you go into this half-heartedly then you are unlikely to see the type of results you were hoping for, so you must give it 100% and you will very soon start to see some significant results.
